Common cancers in men

Wessex Cancer Alliance brings together clinicians and managers from health, social care and other services to transform diagnosis, treatment and care for cancer patients. Its vision is to ensure that people with cancer and their families in Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight will have the best possible experience and outcomes from their care.

It launched its ‘Communities Against Cancer’ project in 2019, with a focus on the early diagnosis of cancer. Wessex Cancer Support is proud to have launched ActionMan campaign as part of that initiative.

It’s important to spend a few minutes finding out about the signs and symptoms of common male cancers because there’s a better chance of treating cancer successfully if it’s caught early. As the saying goes, knowledge is power! Being aware of the signs and symptoms and speaking to your GP if you’re worried could be life-changing.
